WBC Interim Lightweight champion Ryan Garcia has accepted the challenge of Javier Fortuna. The match takes place on July 9, 2021, LIVE on DAZN. Venue and undercard will be announced shortly. 

The winner of this title eliminator will then be set to fight WBC lightweight champion Devin “The Dream” Haney, who battles Jorge “El Nino de Oro” Linares on May 29th in Las Vegas.
