OUTRAGE! Wilder Insists Fury Tampered with Gloves in their Rematch.

Deontay Wilder

Deontay Wilder broke his silence about his loss to Tyson Fury and his belief that Fury did in fact tamper with the padding of the glove in their rematch. He released a video that was posted on his Instagram account and other social media accounts.
He also believes Fury did the same in their first fight as well. Wilder says he believes Fury put something in the shape of an egg (weight?) inside his glove and that this put an egg-shaped dent on the side of Wilder’s head if you will. It was also in the shape of an egg.
Wilder states he believes former World Champ Britain Rickey Hatton, Fury’s trainer back then, assisted with tampering with Fury’s gloves in their first meeting. The Bronze Bomber says Fury scratched out a piece of flesh out of the inside of his ear which caused it to bleed.
Mauricio Sulamain, says this isn’t true; he himself was supposedly in Fury’s locker room when he was getting gloved up. He checked both fighters’ gloves and that this is a false statement, if you will. Wilder feels Fury needs to honor their rematch clause instead of Fury fighting in December.

“But in the midst of it all, you still couldn’t keep this king down. You would’ve had to kill me. In the end, it took a referee and a disloyal trainer to throw the towel in just to stop me.” Deontay Wilder’s Instagram Post Oct. 31, 2020

We’ve heard of Football Gate when Tom Brady won the Super Bowl a few years back; now there’s Glove Gate in boxing. Boxing fans, what’s your take on this? What do you think about Wilder’s beliefs?
