Terrance “Bud” Crawford Stops Britain’s Kell Brook in 4.
Article by Rick Mohamed
Kell Brook came in with a great fight plan as he took the fight to welterweight champion Terrance “BUD” Crawford from the bell. Brook delivered a nice established jab and when Bud twitched up Brook had success with his straight right hand as well until he didn’t.
Once Crawford figured out Brook and closed the gap and his distance got adjusted, Bud was able to catch Brook with a nice right hand that sent him to the canvas. After taking the standing 8 count Crawford jumped on Brook with a combination of punches that caused referee Tony Weeks to step in for the stoppage.
We must see Bud and Errol Spence Jr. square off and unify the Welterweight division. This will determine who is the true rightful king at welterweight. Bob Arum says he will have Bud fight both Spence and Garcia in the same night, that’s how good Bud is. Crawford is way too big for Pac-Man.
I say let’s quit screwing around already and make the winner of Spence Vs Garcia and hopefully it’s Spence. Bud is 33 years old. He’s trying to close in on his legacy and unify the division but I believe Al Haymon will try to age Bud out. He did the same thing for the Mayweather Vs Pac-Man fight, which happened 5 years after all the trash talking.
Crawford is a special kind of fighter that we have not witnessed in a while at 147lb. Spence would definitely be in a fight. We shall see what 2021 has in store for us. Crawford has been saying when his contract with TR was up (and that is soon), he is leaving Bob Arum to go make his own fights. Well boxing fans what another great weekend and night of boxing, until next time.
All I can say boxing fans is “WOW”! This young lady just turned 18 years old and already has her 3rd professional victory in the books and her second first round KO. It didn’t appear to have lasted over 30 seconds, if you will.
Fei Faiva destroyed Myasia Oglesby last night in St Petersburg Florida. Fei came out at the bell immediately establishing her jab and going to the body, her lateral side to side head and torso movement was much like Iron Mike Tyson. It allowed her to make her opponent miss over and over. Fei put Oglesby on the ropes, letting her hands go to the body and head.
Eventually Fei caught her opponent with a vicious body attack, forcing Oglesby to quit from the excruciating pain she was suffering.
I’m calling it now: Fei Faiva is THE up and coming female prospect out of Catskills NY. She will be crowned world champion in the 130-135’lb weight class within a year, if not sooner.
I can see Eddie Hearn & MatchRoom boxing reaching out to sign this bright Diamond, a gem in the rough, to a lucrative promotional deal. Fei Faiva, you are well on your way young lady. As they say, you have arrived.
Congrats to “Team Faiva”! We look forward to your next outing, I believe, in the next week or so. #THEBRAWLERSSPORTSBOXINGSHOW LETSGOCHAMP!!
