Teofimo Lopez (16-0, 12 KOs) returns to the ring just months after his earth-shattering win over Vasily “Loma” Lomachenko, winning 3 of the 4 lightweight world championships.  This time, he faces George Kambosos, who is 19-0 w/10 KOs. The fight will be LIVE at loanDepot Park in Miami, FL., and aired on Triller PPV, the Triller Fight Club announced. This marks the very first big time pro fight aired by Triller, which aired the Mike Tyson vs. Roy Jones Jr. exhibition and Youtuber Jake Paul vs. former MMA star Ben Askren fights. It outbid all others for the rights with a $6 million purse bid. This fight was originally scheduled for June 5, but it would’ve been competing with the Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul exhibition match on June 6. UPDATE: the fight has been postponed due to COvid-19 complications, will be rescheduled for Aug. 14, 2021.
