Fight Week: Haney vs. Linares, Cameron vs. Hernandez, Oubaali vs. Donaire are all coming up

Fight Week this week of May 23-30 culminates with 2 fight cards and 3 Main Events: Monday’s Memorial Day weekend starts with Saturday, May 22, 2021- Devin “The Dream” Haney (25-0, 18 KOs) vs. Jorge “El Nino Del Oro” Linares (47-5, 29 KOs) for Haney’s WBC Lightweight title Michelob Ultra Arena at Mandelay Bay Hotel & Casino, Las Vegas, NV., LIVE on DAZN. 

The undercard features ladies’ WBC super lightweight champion Chantelle Cameron (13-0, 7 KOs) takes on challenger Michelle Hernandez (32-7-3, 7 KOs). Finally, WBC Bantamweight Nordin Oubaali (17-0, 12 KOs) fights future Hall of Famer Nonito Donaire (40-6, 26 KOs) at Dignity Health Arena in Carson, CA. 

Donaire has previously won titles in 4 divisions over his illustrious career: flyweight, bantamweight, super bantamweight & featherweight. During the week, there will be press conference, interviews, weight-ins and stare downs before the fateful night of the fights, on Saturday, May 29.
