In this episode of the Brawlers Sports Boxing Show Podcast, CEO Rick Mohamed gives a lightning preview of the hot fights scheduled for April 2021. 

Up first is the Jamel Herring (22-2-0, 10 KOs) vs. Carl Frampton (28-2-0, 22 KOs) battle on April 3rd in Dubai, UAE. This “melee in the desert” is for Herring’s WBO super featherweight title. Frampton is 34, so this may be one of, if not the, last chances to challenge for a title. 

Later in the month, on April 24th, is the all-Mexican fracas between Andy Ruiz Jr. and Chris Arreola. Ruiz Jr. (33-2=0, 22 KOs), fresh off a loss in his rematch with Anthony Joshua for the heavyweight title, is now in great shape. He KO’ed Joshua to win the title in their first match, but came to the rematch in terrible shape. As a result, he turned a terrible performance as Joshua regained the titles he lost in the first match. Chris Arreola (38-6-1, 33 KOs) is a warrior, but a journeyman. He’s fought some big names in the heavyweight ranks. He’s fought Vitali Klitschko and Deontay Wilder, both for the WBC title, but he lost both fights. LOTSGOCHAMPS
