On this latest installment of the Brawlers Sports Boxing Show Podcast, CEO Rick Mohamed sits down to chop it up w/ Giovanti “GMoney” Mohamed about the hottest news today: Canelo Alvarez’ dispute w/the Billy Joe Saunders camp over the size of the ring.

The Canelo camp wants a 20 foot ring, which favors the puncher Canelo, while Billy Joe Saunders wants a 22-24 foot ring to take advantage of his superior footwork. GMoney predicts a Billy Joe win-if they fight.

My dad Ricardo Mohamed started teaching me the basics of boxing when I was around 3 years old, and I have loved the sport ever since. As a kid I grew up around both World champions and great trainers. I competed in several Golden gloves tournaments throughout my younger years, and competed in different states for amateur boxing events. I was set to turn Professional in 2014 but unfortunately, months before my Pro debut I was diagnosed with severe Arthritis which ended my pursuit of becoming a world champion.
