Well boxing fans, here we are. It’s coming this Saturday night 12 Dec 2020. Champion Anthony Joshua (AJ) is back in the ring Vs Kubrat Pulev for Joshua’s WBA, IBO, IBF, WBO heavyweight belts. 

First, the pre-fight press conference, held a couple of days prior to the big match in London, England. Both fighters spoke candidly about their approach to the fight and their opponent.

Joshua said he has grown tough skin since losing to Andy Ruiz (then beating him in the rematch). He is prepared to go the full 12 rounds if that’s what it takes. He feels he is a 15 round fighter built to last. 

Pulev said this fight was supposed to have happened in 2017, so it’s been a long time coming. Finally his chance is here. Come Saturday night he will defeat Anthony “AJ” Joshua for it all. Joshua said the key thing that separates him from all the rest is his character. 

It is a big part of who he is and what he stands for. That represents everything he believes in from his early amateur days until now. Pulev said he respects Joshua: he’s a great and good champion, but he is going to be the better man, the victorious one come Saturday night.
