Josh Taylor & Jose Ramirez meet to unify their light welterweight belts, but first we hear them both speak & give their thoughts in this ZOOM fight week call…

Josh Taylor will battle Jose Ramirez in a light welterweight unification battle on May 22, 2021 at The Virgin Hotels Las Vegas Paradise, NV.. Taylor (17-0, 13 KOs) is the WBA (Super), IBF,& The Ring light welterweight champion. 
He last fought Apinun Khongsong on Sept 26, 2020. Taylor won by KO, using a devastating body shot at 2:41 in the first round to score the victory. 
Ramirez is the WBC & WBO light welterweight champion. He last fought on Aug. 29, 2020, whee he defeated Victor Postol by majority decision (MD) in 12 rounds. 
The WBO’s top contender and mandatory challenger, Jack Catterall, has agreed to a “step aside” deal, wherein he has been promised to fight the winner. 
Ramirez, a Mexican-American hailing from California, says “I love to talk with my fists!”. Taylor, “The Tartan Tornado” from Scotland is proud to represent his homeland and countrymen. We here at Brawlers Sports look forward to a wild fight between these 2 undefeated champions. There can be only 1!
