Chris Arreola: This is the Hurt Business-Look Out Andy Ruiz!

Article by Rick Mohamed

Chris Arreola is at the end of his rope, so he must beat Andy Ruiz Jr., or else!

Chris Arreola is at the crossroads. At 40 years old, he’s had his share of heavyweight title chances, with no belts to call his own.
He knows that his May 1, 2021 fight vs. former heavyweight champion Andy Ruiz Jr. is most likely his final shot at the big names and a title shot as well. Arreola trained very hard for this all Mexican-American battle.
In interviews he looks very slim and trim.
However, Andy Ruiz Jr., who weighed a doughy 310 pounds before training for this fight began, now weighs in at around 255 pounds! It seems that both fighters are more than ready for whatever this fight may bring.
As for Ruiz, he sought out Canelo Alvarez and his trainer, Eddy Reynoso. Reynoso is the legendary trainer (2-time Trainer of the Year) who trains Alvarez, Ryan Garcia and now Ruiz.
Few can deny Ruiz’ talent level, but they do question his shaky commitment to staying in shape and being ready for his next fight. Now, Ruiz comes to this fight 55 pounds lighter and seems to be very prepared for it. He seems committed. We’ll fid out May 1. LETSGOCHAMPS!!
