Article by Rick Mohamed
Brawlers Sports Media CEO Rick Mohamed spoke with Welterweight Champion of the World Errol Spence Jr’s trainer Derrick James. James said Errol is having a great camp. He’s sparring 15 -16 rounds with quality young up and coming talent as he prepares for his Dec 5 title defense Vs Danny “Swift” Garcia at AT&T Stadium.
James also says that Spence is already at weight but declined to say what he weighs currently. He is strong, in shape and they both can’t wait til Dec 5 to go out and perform. They want to get another W.
James gives Garcia praise, saying that he is a sharp, talented fighter that can’t be taken lightly. He is considered one of the elite welterweights in the game today. James also says that Spence wasn’t interested in a cushioned fight upon his return to the ring.
He believes in fighting the best fighters out there for him and his fans, if you will. Brawlers would like to wish both Team Garcia & Team Spence well come Dec 5th showdown.
