Article by Rick Mohamed

The Mayweather vs. Paul undercard held their own press conference, PLUS CEO Rick visits the venue…

Miami, FL.: The Mayweather vs. Paul undercard held their own press conference at JW Marriott hotel, and Brawlers Sports CEO Rick Mohamed was there for all of it. In addition, he also took the time to visit Hard rock Stadium, in Miami Gardens, FL., scene of the event.
The undercard consists of three (3) fights:
Chad Johnson vs. Brian Maxwell, cruiserweights
An exhibition fight between former NFL Pro Bowl wide receiver Chad (formerly) “Ochocinco” Johnson. vs. Brian Maxwell, 4 2-minute rounds. Johnson was a successful NFL player, but he’s never fought before. He was trained by the Charlo Twins, Jermell & Jermall. Both are champions, and definitely know the sweet science. How well Johnson learns is another story… Brian Maxwell is a former MMA & Bare Knuckle fighter. He lost his only regular boxing match. He’s not going to make things easy for Johnson when they step in the ring.
Jarrett Hurd vs. Luis Arias, junior middleweights
“Swift” is a former multi-belt champion who is looking to get back into the game, in this 10 round fight. Arias will be looking to keep Hurd from attaining his former glory this night.
Badou Jack vs. Dervin Colina, light heavyweights
Finally, just before the Main Event, former super middleweight & light heavyweight champion Badou Jack takes on last minute replacement Devin Colina in battle of light heavyweights, in a 10 round match. Colina took this fight on short notice, after Jack’s original opponent, Jean Pascal, tested positive for banned substances.
