Breaking: Tyson “The Gypsy King” Fury Will Vacate Title, Bypass Wilder & Fight Joshua!

Article by Rick Mohamed

Breaking News: Tyson Fury, “the Gypsy King” pulls a big holiday move, thinks outside the box, and figures what would be the most sensible thing to do. Actually, in order to make the Anthony Joshua (AJ) heavyweight championship fight happen, he’s thinking way, way outside the box!
He’s going to vacate the WBA title, the same one he defeated Deontay Wilder last February for. Then, this sets up a big “Battle of the Brits” matchup between him and Anthony Joshua!
Bob Arum, Fury’s promoter, along with co- promoter Frank Warren, are having talks with AJ and Eddie Hearn of MatchRoom Boxing. Arum says this will be the biggest heavyweight gate in history since the GOAT Muhammad Ali vs Frazier March 8 1971 at MSG in NYC almost 50 years ago.
I can only imagine it: Wembley Stadium with a sold out 100K in attendance, not to mention the number of PPV sales from every home across the globe. Arum has stated he will start working out all the fighter terms and particulars as early as Monday morning. It will be his sole priority.
Fury has mentioned that he and Joshua have agreed to the money terms and that each man is in agreement to an 50/50 split of everything, as it should be. Each fighter brings a huge following of fans and potential generated revenue. It would be as big and as expensive as the gold in all of Fort Knox.
On another note, it’s not the way former champ Deontay Wilder would have wanted things to go in his favor. However, Al Haymon will have Wilder fight for the WBA belt that Fury says he will vacate against whoever PBC taps. In this case, Wilder can win his belt back and maybe fight the winner of Fury Vs Joshua. In the end everything still comes back full circle to the Bronze Bomber, and I’m sure Haymon will see to that. No harm no foul, as we say.

We shall see boxing fans. What’s your thoughts? Let’s hear what you guys think and have to say. We’d love to see your feedback! Finally,

Happy holidays to each and every one of you from the Brawler Sports Media family to yours.
