Michel Rivera puts down Jon Fernandez in 8 after being knocked down in 6th round, ready to move up vs. bigger opponents

Carson, CA, (July 2, 2021): Michel Rivera was knocked down with a straight right hand delivered by his hard charging opponent Jon Fernandez. He got up from the canvas and went to work, finally knocking out Fernandez with a right hand in the 8th round. 

He and Fernandez fought an even fight, with Fernandez taking control with a 10-8 5th round due to the knockdown. However, Rivera rallied and won. He’s now ready to move on to the bigger name boxers and more lucrative fights. 

This young warrior showed tremendous heart by getting up from the floor and stopping his opponent less than 2 rounds later. Big ups, and a huge shout out to Team Rivera!
