Anthony Chavez was dropped in the first round of this event due to a head butt with a punch following it, which had the referee call it a knock down! But later in the fight, after they reviewed the instant replay, the judges reversed it and waived it as not a knock down. 

Chavez rallied back in the third and knocked Adan Gonzales to the canvas with a sweet left hook! 

Overall, this was an entertaining fight up until Gonzales got dropped in the 3rd. He appeared to fade in the later rounds, but never gave up. Tonight Chavez was the better man who now advances to 9-1 with 3 KO’s. Congrats “Team Chavez”
