Ladies boxing’s new superstar, Claressa Shields (10-0, 2 KOs) comes back to the ring to become the first ever fighter-male or female, to become the first undisputed champion in 2 weight classes. She’ll take on Marie Eva Dicaire (17-0), the IBF junior middleweight champion, for Shield’s WBC & WBO titles. The vacant WBA title is also on the line, to fully unify the belts under 1 champion. Shield’s, a 2-time Olympic gold medalist (2012, 2016), hasn’t fought since January 2020, when she beat Ivana Habazin for the 154 lb. titles.
The fight card is the first ever all-women’s fight card, and will be held in Shields’ hometown of Flint, MI @ Dort Federal Credit Union Event Center. This is her 1st hometown defense, so it will be a very special event for her, her family and friends.
