WBO Middleweight champion Demetrius “Boo Boo” Andrade is on a Quest to fight the bigger names in boxing, but they don’t seem to want any part of him. Not so with Liam Williams.
The two fighters are scheduled to mix it up on April 17, 2021 at Hard Rock Casino in Hollywood, FL. Eddie Hearn‘s Matchroom is promoting the event. It features the main event and a 5 fight undercard.
With the number of those vaccinated increasing, promoters are hoping that a large number of fans will brave the night and attend the event.
Andrade (29-0, 18 KOs) has been inactive for 14 months, partially due to the pandemic, but also due to no one wanting to fight him. He wants the bigger names and bigger paydays, but these have eluded him.
Williams (23-2-1, 18 KOs) is more than eager to step in the ring and prove himself a champion by defeating Andrade. Come April 17, we shall see….
