Showtime Championship Boxing presents welterweights Jaron “Boots” Ennis vs. Sergey Lipinets LIVE in Uncasville, CT. at the Mohegan Sun Arena.
Ennis, 23-years old(26-0, 24 KOs, 1 NC), is fighting his biggest match yet vs. the veteran Lipinets, 32 years old (16-1-1, 12 KOs). Ennis is coming off a disappointing No Contest match against Chris Van Heerden.
Van Heerden suffered a deep cut on his forehead in the 1st round of their bout and was unable to continue. It was then ruled a No Contest.
Now, Ennis has returned to the same site of that incomplete match to make amends, move up in the welterweight division and take on the big names for the big money.
