Triumphant Daniel Dubois Returns With a 2nd Rd. KO of Bogdan Dinu
Article by Rick Mohamed
Daniel Dubois was very impressive in his return to the ring with a 2 round KO of Bogdan Dinu
Daniel Dubois had much to prove after his crushing surrender to Joe Joyce last November. He came out in his match vs. Romanian Bogdan Dinu with a purpose: win the fight impressively and silence the naysayers.
After he thoroughly trounced Dinu en route to a 2nd round KO, one might say he did all of the above. Dubois came out and let his hands go, if you will.
He was working to force Dinu to bring his hands down, so he could attack the head. Dinu did just that, and at the beginning of the 2nd round, Dubois made him pay.
After sending Dinu to the ropes, he knocked down Dinu just 15 seconds into the round, and the referee counted a dazed and stunned Dinu out for the KO victory. Daniel Dubois, 23, is now the WBA Interim heavyweight champion.
This propels him back into the heavyweight championship conversation, overcoming his only setback from last year. is it safe to say it? I think so: Daniel Dubois is back, baby! Brawlers Sports congratulates “Team Dubois”, and looks forward to seeing more from this young champion.
