Special Interview: Shawn "SS" Simpson Gives an Update on His Situation.

Top bantamweight contender Shawn “SS” Simpson (12-0, 4 KOs) sat down with us to give an update on his situation. Recently felled by a mishap during a sparring session while training for his next fight putting in work in at Mayweather’s boxing gym in Las Vegas NV, which was to have taken place on September 24, 2020, his quality of life, including his pro boxing career, currently remains in doubt.
While he does have some serious difficulties to overcome, he nonetheless remains optimistic, yet realistic. Living in Las Vegas, NV., his condition forbids him from flying, so he flies in his family from his native Chicago, IL. to help him with his rehab. Joining him are his mother, girlfriend, and their infant son.
We here at Brawlers Sports Media understand and sympathize with Shawn’s struggle, pray for him and his family, and wish him a speedy recovery. If any boxing fans or well wishers wish to help him with his medical bills and other expenses, his camp has setup a Go Fund Me campaign to aid him financially.
